Can exhaustion cause vomiting?

I pulled an all-nighter for a project deadline and now I feel completely drained and nauseous. I even threw up this morning. I'm wondering if extreme exhaustion can cause vomiting like this, or if I caught something else.

Please don't ignore this. I once blamed severe fatigue and vomiting on office stress, but it turned out to be a severe gall bladder issue that got worse because I delayed my doctor visit.

Last month, I was so overworked and sleep-deprived that my acidity spiked and I vomited twice. Once I got a full night's rest and ate light, simple foods, my stomach settled down completely.

I actually threw up after a brutal football match in the peak summer heat. It was pure dehydration and physical exhaustion. Drinking electrolyte water and lying down in an AC room sorted me out.

If you are working late hours and skipping meals, the excess gastric acid can easily cause vomiting. Keep some basic antacids handy, eat small meals on time, and make sure you get decent sleep.

Extreme physical fatigue can definitely mess up your digestion and cause nausea. Since thyroid imbalances can also trigger fatigue and digestive issues, it is always a good idea to keep up with your regular lab tests.
