Can exercise cause heart attack?

My friends keep pushing me to start exercising regularly, but I'm a bit nervous. I've heard stories about people having heart attacks during or after intense workouts. Can exercise actually cause a heart attack, especially if you're not used to it?

I recently had a mild heart event while jogging because I ignored chest tightness, thinking it was just acidity. If you have underlying blocks, sudden high-intensity exercise can trigger a heart attack. Please get a proper cardiac screening before pushing your body hard at the gym.

Gentle exercises like walking and stretching are very beneficial for heart health and can be supported by eating garlic and Arjuna bark tea. However, if you feel any chest pain, shortness of breath, or heavy sweating during exercise, do not ignore it. Please see a doctor immediately as these can be signs of a serious heart issue.

My doctor advised me to undergo a TMT (treadmill test) and an ECG before starting heavy weight training, especially since I have a family history of heart issues. He told me that unaccustomed heavy exertion can sometimes put too much sudden pressure on the heart. I highly suggest consulting a cardiologist first.

Yes, sudden extreme exercise can trigger a heart attack if there is an undiagnosed heart block. Always get a cardiac checkup done first.

In our younger days, we did simple physical labor and walked everywhere, which kept the heart strong. Modern extreme gym workouts without checking your body's capability can sometimes cause sudden strain. Don't worry, but keep your exercise moderate and get a regular health checkup.

Please don't follow any gym trainers or internet influencers telling you to push through extreme pain or take heavy pre-workout supplements. If you have any underlying heart condition, intense workouts can be dangerous. Verify everything with a qualified cardiologist before starting any heavy regime.

Sudden intense physical exertion can indeed precipitate a cardiac event in individuals with silent coronary artery disease. For your own safety, if you experience sudden chest discomfort, dizziness, or radiating pain during a workout, stop immediately and seek emergency medical care.
