Can excedrin migraine be taken with ibuprofen?

I get really debilitating migraines, and sometimes the pain is just too much. I usually take Excedrin Migraine, but if the pain is severe, I sometimes wonder if I can combine it with ibuprofen for better relief. Is it safe to take Excedrin Migraine with ibuprofen?

I completely understand the desperation when a migraine hits, it makes you want to take anything just to stop the pain. But mixing Excedrin and ibuprofen can be really harsh on your stomach and kidneys. Please stay safe and check with a doctor before combining them.

My roommate used to get crazy migraines and once thought about taking both, but our doc friend told us it's a big no. Excedrin has aspirin, paracetamol, and caffeine, so adding ibuprofen is just too many painkillers at once. Better to ask a pharmacist first, pls don't risk it.

Honestly, don't mix them. Excedrin already has aspirin, which is an NSAID, and ibuprofen is also an NSAID. Taking both together is a recipe for a bad stomach ache or even acidity. Just stick to what your doc prescribed for your migraines.

Listen, don't experiment with your health like this. Excedrin and ibuprofen are both strong pain relievers, and taking them together can cause severe acidity or stomach bleeding. If your headache is that bad, go see a doctor instead of mixing pills on your own.

Beta, please don't take two different strong medicines together like this. It can hurt your stomach and make you feel very uneasy. If you are in a lot of pain, please show it to a local doctor so they can give you the right single tablet safely.

When I had a severe migraine episode last year, my doctor told me never to take ibuprofen and Excedrin together because of the aspirin content in Excedrin. I only take what is written on my prescription now. Please consult your physician to see what is safe for your body.

I am actually not very familiar with these migraine medicines. If we cannot take Excedrin and ibuprofen together, is there a safe gap we should keep between them? Or is it better to avoid ibuprofen completely if someone has already taken Excedrin today?

I usually prefer a warm cup of ginger tea or putting a cold compress on my forehead when a headache starts. Mixing heavy medicines like Excedrin and ibuprofen is quite risky for your stomach lining. If your migraine is unbearable, it is always best to visit a doctor.

I totally panicked once when I accidentally took ibuprofen shortly after an Excedrin, thinking I had messed up my liver. Fortunately, I was okay, but my doctor strictly told me not to do it again because of the risk of stomach irritation. Just drink water, rest, and check with your GP.

Taking multiple strong painkillers together can be very taxing for your internal organs. For my head pain, I try slow pranayama in a quiet dark room, which often helps lower the intensity. Please ask your doctor before mixing medicines like Excedrin and ibuprofen.
