Can energy drinks cause kidney pain?

Sometimes after having an energy drink, I feel a dull ache in my lower back, like kidney pain. Is there a connection between energy drinks and kidney pain, or am I just imagining it?

Yes, they can cause kidney pain, often due to dehydration or the formation of kidney stones from high sugar and caffeine. I always make sure to flush my system with lots of water. If your doctor says it's fine, light walking can also help with circulation and passing minor sediment, but do rest if the pain is sharp.

Oh, absolutely! The heavy caffeine in those drinks can dehydrate you really fast, which makes your kidneys work extra hard and ache. Swapping those cans for plenty of fresh water and coconut water will make your kidneys very happy! 💧😊

These modern chemical drinks are very harsh on the inside of our body. If you are feeling pain in your back or sides, please stop drinking them immediately and drink warm water. I hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, I experienced this during my semester exams. I was living on energy drinks and barely drinking water, and I got this dull ache in my lower back. Once I switched back to normal water and stopped the cans, the ache disappeared. It's just massive dehydration, honestly.

S सीधी बात है, energy drinks are basically dehydrating bombs. If you drink them instead of water, your kidneys will definitely protest and ache. Stop abusing these cans, drink 3 liters of plain water daily, and if the pain doesn't go away in a day, go see a doctor.

Your kidneys are basically crying for help because they're being flooded with caffeine instead of actual water! It's like trying to wash your car with sticky soda. Give those poor kidneys a break, flush them with water, and the pain should pack its bags.
