Can emts tell if you're having a heart attack?

My uncle had a sudden chest pain last week and we called the emergency services. The paramedics (EMTs) arrived very quickly. I was wondering, can these EMTs tell on the spot if someone is actually having a heart attack?

I think they can check on the way to the hospital using an ECG machine. Do all basic Indian ambulances have these setups or is it only the cardiac ones?

Don't stress too much, those EMT guys are highly trained professionals. They can run an ECG right inside the ambulance and know exactly what is happening to guide the hospital.

They are definitely trained to read basic symptoms and use ECG machines in the ambulance. If anyone is experiencing chest pain or sudden shortness of breath, please call for emergency help immediately.

They are well-trained to spot emergency cardiac symptoms and monitor your vitals. In any such situation, keeping the person calm and letting the medical team do their job is very important.

Yeah bro, they absolutely can tell. When my uncle had severe chest pain, the ambulance staff did a quick test right away and alerted the hospital ER before we even reached.

Yes, modern emergency responders have ECG monitors to detect heart attacks on the spot. If someone has heavy chest pain radiating to the arm, don't wait for a regular car, call a cardiac ambulance immediately.
