Can elevated liver enzymes make you tired?

Lately, I've been feeling unusually tired and sluggish, almost constantly. I just got my blood report back, and it showed elevated liver enzymes. Could these high liver enzyme levels be the reason why I'm feeling so exhausted all the time?

Omg yes, totally! I had this last semester and I was literally sleeping through all my lectures, feeling like a zombie. Thought I was just lazy, but a blood test showed high liver enzymes. It really drains your energy.

At my age, I have learned that the liver is like the powerhouse of the body. If it is struggling, you will naturally feel very tired and weak. Don't worry, with simple food, proper rest, and doctor's advice, your energy will return.

I also got my reports today and my enzymes are slightly high, and I am feeling so weak lately. Is it normal to feel sleepy all the time because of this, or should I be worried about something else?

I totally get it, that heavy feeling where even lifting your arm feels like a chore is so hard to deal with. When your liver is inflamed, your whole body works double-time, which causes this deep fatigue. Please take plenty of rest.

Haan na, it makes you so tired, actually. My husband had this last year and he used to fall asleep right after coming home from office. It is very common with liver issues, just take care of your diet, ho na.

Please do not ignore this fatigue. I kept dragging myself to work thinking it was just stress, but my liver enzymes were sky-high and it turned out to be severe fatty liver. Go get a proper checkup done before it worsens.

Hey, don't worry too much about it. It is just your body's way of telling you to slow down and take care of your liver. Sleep well, eat clean ghar ka khana, and you will be back to your energetic self very soon.

Drinking warm water with fresh amla juice in the morning helped me recover my energy when my liver was stressed. However, if your tiredness is accompanied by yellowing of the eyes or dark urine, please consult a doctor immediately.

It is very hard when you feel so drained all day. Along with your regular medicines, try eating simple, home-cooked, oil-free food like khichdi and papaya. It gives your liver a chance to rest and helps you regain strength.

Fatigue is indeed a very common indicator of elevated liver enzymes. For your own safety, please get a full liver function test and consult a qualified general physician to find the exact cause.

I can only share what happened to me, but yes, when my liver enzymes were elevated, I felt extremely fatigued every single day. Once my doctor helped me address the liver issue, the constant tiredness finally went away.

Yeah bro, it absolutely knocks you out. My SGPT was over 120 last year and I was exhausted 24/7. Stopped eating outside junk and started sleeping on time, and my energy came back within a month.
