Can elevated liver enzymes cause diarrhea?

I recently found out I have elevated liver enzymes, and I've also been experiencing bouts of diarrhea quite frequently. I'm trying to connect my symptoms. Is there any link, and can elevated liver enzymes directly cause diarrhea?

I totally get it, dealing with stomach issues alongside worrying reports is so draining. Sometimes, liver stress affects how your body processes fats, which directly leads to diarrhea. Please don't worry, just keep drinking fluids and rest.

Yes, they absolutely can be linked. When my liver enzymes were high, my digestion was completely messed up and I had frequent loose motions. Stick to simple boiled food, curd rice, and avoid oily spices entirely until your liver heals.

It can happen because when the liver is stressed, bile flow gets disrupted, messing up fat digestion. Clean up your diet immediately, drop the whey protein or heavy pre-workouts for a bit, and let your gut recover naturally.

Haan na, it definitely causes stomach upset. When the liver is not working properly, our digestion suffers first and we get diarrhea. Take simple coconut water and meet your doctor soon, ho na.

Had this exact combo during a jaundice scare last year. My liver was struggling to make bile, so whatever I ate just ran straight through me. Get a liver function test done and show it to a doc, don't just keep taking random digestion pills.

Ah, the classic double blow of high enzymes and stomach runs! It is basically your liver telling you it can't handle the extra load anymore. Time to put a full stop to outside food and stick to ghar ka khichdi for a week.
