Can eczema occur at any age?

My mother-in-law, who is in her late 60s, recently developed some strange skin rashes that her doctor thinks might be eczema. I always thought it was something kids get, actually. Does eczema really show up at any age, even much later in life?

Actually yaaar, it can happen to anyone. People think it is only a kids' problem, but adult-onset eczema is very common. My uncle got it for the first time at 55, so age doesn't really matter here.

Yes, eczema has no age limit. It can appear in babies, teens, or even late in life. If you are dealing with it, switch to fragrance-free soaps immediately and keep your skin damp when applying moisturizer to lock in hydration.

Yes, absolutely! It can pop up at any stage of life, from little babies to grandpas 🌸 So don't worry if you got it suddenly, it is very common and completely manageable with the right skincare routine!

Yes, it can hit you at any age, whether you are 5 or 50. Just like our food tastes change over time, our skin barrier also changes. Just be mindful of what triggers it and keep enjoying your life!

Yes, it can occur at any age. Don't waste time thinking why it happened now. Just focus on keeping your skin moisturized, drink lots of water, and consult a skin specialist for a proper treatment plan.
