Can eczema develop at any time?

I've been managing my eczema for a few years, but the flare-ups seem so unpredictable sometimes. One day my skin is fine, and the next it's bad. Is it possible for eczema to develop at any time, even in adulthood, or are there specific triggers?

Yes it can. I go to a dermatologist at Apollo and they told me adult-onset eczema is very much a real thing. Don't self-diagnose, just get a clear checkup done and ask your doctor all your questions directly.

Honestly, yes! I never had any skin issues as a kid but suddenly got these dry, itchy patches on my arms last year. It can happen anytime due to stress or changes in weather. Just keep your skin super hydrated with a mild moisturizer.

Yes, our body dynamics change as we age. I have seen people getting it in their 40s because of internal heat or stress. Along with your doctor's skin cream, try doing daily Anulom Vilom pranayama, it really helps cool down the system naturally.

Haan na, it can start at any age. Mere mama ko 50 ki age mein suddenly eczema ho gaya physical stress ki wajah se. Pehle laga normal dry skin hai, but later doctor confirmed it. Thoda care rakho, ho jata hai trigger kabhi bhi.

It can show up out of nowhere even when you are older. Don't worry too much about why it happened now. Just take care of your skin and stay calm, it gets easier to manage.
