Can eating too much fruits cause diabetes?

There's a history of diabetes in my family, so I'm very careful about my diet. I eat a lot of fruits daily, thinking they are always good for health. But can consuming too many fruits, with all their natural sugar, potentially lead to diabetes?

As a diabetic, I have to be extremely careful with fruits like mangoes and grapes. They contain high fructose which can cause immediate spikes. It is always safer to consult your diabetologist before adding too much fruit to your diet.

Managing insulin issues is so tricky. I love fruits, but eating too many high-glycemic ones can affect insulin levels. I prefer having berries or apples in moderate amounts. It is best to get your fasting insulin checked to see what works for you.

Fruits are nature's candy! 🍎 But yes, even natural sugars should be eaten in limit. Just stick to 1-2 servings a day and you will be completely fine!

I was reading about this online and found out that whole fruits rarely cause diabetes on their own because of the fiber content. However, eating them in massive quantities alongside a bad lifestyle might still raise risks. Moderation seems to be the key.

I used to eat a plate full of fruits every single night thinking it was a healthy dinner, but my HbA1c levels slowly started rising. Once I shifted fruits to daytime and reduced the portion, my levels went back to normal.
