Can eating too much fruit give you diabetes?

I've replaced sugary snacks with a lot of fruits, sometimes eating 4-5 servings a day. My friend joked that I might get diabetes from all the fruit sugar. Can eating too much fruit actually increase the risk of getting diabetes?

Even though fruits have natural sugar, eating them in excess can still spike your blood sugar. I always make sure to go for a brisk 15-minute walk after eating high-glycemic fruits like mangoes or bananas to help manage insulin.

I was researching this because my dad loves mangoes but has borderline sugar. It seems the fiber in whole fruits actually slows down sugar absorption, but eating huge quantities might still overwhelm the system. It's a tricky balance.

First they tell us to stop eating sweets, now they want us to stop eating fruits too! At this rate, we will survive only on air. Honestly, just eat a normal amount of fruit and don't overcomplicate life.

Actually yaar, whole fruits are fine because they have fiber, but fruit juices are dangerous because they lack fiber and spike sugar instantly. Don't swap actual fruits for juices, that is a bad idea.

People on the internet make wild claims about fruits curing or causing diabetes. Diabetes is a complex metabolic disorder, not just caused by eating a few bananas. Get a proper HbA1c test done and discuss the reports with a doctor.

My physician at Apollo told me that moderation is key even with healthy things like fruits. If you have a family history of diabetes, you should directly ask your doctor which fruits are safe for you and in what quantity.

Nature has created fruits to nourish our bodies, so they are not our enemies. Just eat them with gratitude and in moderate amounts. Take care of your health with a peaceful mind.

Haan bhai, fruits to healthy hote hain par excessive mangoes khane se sugar level toh badhega na. Ek limit mein khao toh kuch nahi hota. Har cheez ka balance banana zaroori hai.

I am trying to eat healthier so I started eating a large bowl of papaya and apples daily. Is that too much, or is it safe? I'm quite new to managing my diet properly.

Whole fruits are healthy, but eating too many sweet fruits like mangoes, cheeku, or grapes daily can raise sugar levels. If you feel constantly thirsty or tired, please don't ignore it and get your blood sugar checked by a doctor.
