Can dvt cause heart attack?

My mother recently had a DVT diagnosis, and I'm very concerned about her health. I've read about the potential dangers. Can a Deep Vein Thrombosis directly lead to a heart attack?

Actually yaar, DVT clot usually lungs me jata hai which is called pulmonary embolism, not directly a heart attack. But both are super dangerous, so better not take any risks and consult a doc.

Please get a proper checkup immediately. I ignored leg swelling once and it led to a severe pulmonary embolism which was life-threatening. Any blood clot issue needs urgent medical supervision.

Oh god, this thought makes me so anxious! I know DVT clots can travel, but can they actually cause a heart attack? Has anyone had their doctor explain the actual connection?

Bro, my uncle had DVT. The clot went to his lungs, not his heart directly, but it caused extreme breathing issues. Don't take leg pain or clots lightly at all.

I read so much about blood clots and got so scared of this! A DVT clot blocking lungs can strain the heart, which is incredibly dangerous. Please consult a doctor right away if you have chest pain or breathing issues.

It is best to get this checked by a cardiologist or vascular specialist. They can run the right tests to keep you safe and put your mind at ease.

Technically, DVT causes a pulmonary embolism, which is a blockage in the lungs. It puts massive strain on the heart. If you have been diagnosed with DVT, stick strictly to your blood thinners as prescribed.

From what I understand, a DVT clot typically travels to the lungs rather than causing a traditional heart attack, but it is still a major medical emergency. Please discuss this with your specialist to understand your risk factors.

Treatment and tests like venous doppler and d-dimer are crucial to monitor DVT. Plan your finances for regular follow-ups because ignoring a clot can lead to very expensive emergency hospitalizations later.

Listen, don't sit and wait if you have diagnosed DVT. While it causes lung blockages more than heart attacks, both are deadly if ignored. Go to a good hospital and get it treated properly.
