Can dupixent cause cancer?

My dermatologist has suggested Dupixent for my severe eczema, and I'm looking into it. However, I read something online about a possible link to cancer, and now I'm really worried. Is there any truth to Dupixent causing cancer?

Look, safety data for this medicine is actually quite reassuring. Instead of worrying about rare extremes, just make sure you get your regular checkups done and discuss any new symptoms clearly with your doctor.

I have seen many new treatments come and go in my lifetime, and it is natural to worry about long-term risks. From what I have observed and discussed with doctors, there is no solid evidence linking Dupixent to cancer. Rest your mind and trust the medical process.

Try to keep a positive mind and practice daily breathing exercises to reduce your anxiety. Worrying too much about side effects can also harm your body. The medicine is meant to help you heal.

No, it doesn't. Dupixent isn't a broad immunosuppressant, so it doesn't carry the same cancer warnings as some older systemic drugs. Stop reading random horror stories on the internet.

Please don't let these scary thoughts stress you out. Biologics like Dupixent are highly targeted and generally considered safe. Just keep your doctor in the loop about how you are feeling during the treatment.

Since I manage thyroid issues, I have learned that regular blood monitoring is key when on any long-term therapy. While Dupixent is considered safe, keeping up with regular doctor visits ensures you stay ahead of any health changes.

I know how stressful it is to start a long-term medication, as I worry about side effects for my PCOS meds too. While studies don't show a cancer link, it is always a good idea to discuss your family medical history with your specialist for peace of mind.

I was looking up safety trials for biologic drugs out of curiosity. The clinical trials for Dupixent don't show an increased risk of cancer compared to the general population. It works differently from other immunosuppressants.
