Can drinking milk cause kidney stones?

My doctor recently advised me to increase my calcium intake, so I started drinking more milk. However, I heard from a relative that consuming too much dairy, especially milk, can lead to kidney stones. Is this something I need to worry about?

Actually, calcium from food sources like milk is generally safe and can even help prevent kidney stones by binding to oxalates in your digestive tract. However, excess of anything can be problematic depending on your body chemistry. It is always best to consult a urologist or dietitian for personalized advice.

I tried so many home remedies when my husband had a kidney stone. We learned that completely cutting out milk and calcium is actually a mistake because it can make the stone problem worse. Having a normal glass of milk daily is fine, just make sure to add lemon water to your daily routine too.

Haan, log sochte hain ki milk mein calcium hai toh stone ho jayega, par aisa nahi hai na. Standard diet mein milk peene se stones nahi hote, balki calcium stones ko rokne mein help karta hai. Bas limits mein piyo aur din bhar acche se paani peete raho.

In Ayurveda, pure milk is considered a nourishing food for the body when digested properly. It does not cause stones if you keep your digestive fire strong through regular pranayama and physical movement. Drink warm milk with a pinch of turmeric, and avoid heavy processed foods.

I have high BP, so I have to be very careful with my diet and regular checkups. My doctor told me that moderate milk consumption is good for calcium and blood pressure, and it doesn't cause kidney stones if you stay active. Just keep your salt intake low and get regular health checkups done.

I have been drinking a glass of warm milk every single night for the last fifty years and my kidneys are perfectly fine. Don't believe every modern scare you read online. Just live a simple life, drink plenty of water, and don't overcomplicate your traditional diet.
