Can drinking coffee cause kidney pain?

My father has a history of kidney issues, so I'm always careful. I've noticed a slight ache in my lower back, near the kidney area, especially on days I drink more coffee. Could the coffee be triggering this pain?

Actually yaar, coffee itself doesn't damage kidneys directly, but because it dehydrates you, it can lead to back or kidney aches if you aren't drinking enough water. If the pain is sharp, it could be a stone, so you should definitely consult a doctor.

If you are drinking ten cups of coffee a day and no water, your kidneys are probably screaming for help! Coffee is a diuretic, which means it dehydrates you, and that can cause a dull ache in your back. Try drinking some actual water and see if they stop protesting.

Too much coffee can lead to mild kidney irritation due to dehydration. Having fresh lemonade or a cup of warm water can help hydrate your system, but if you have sharp pain, blood in urine, or fever, please visit a doctor immediately as it could be an infection or kidney stone.

With PCOS, hormonal imbalances can sometimes make us more sensitive to caffeine, which can cause hydration issues and mild back or kidney ache. I suggest cutting back on coffee and drinking plenty of water. Please consult a doctor to rule out any infection or stones.

Yes, high caffeine intake can dehydrate your system and cause kidney discomfort. Having thyroid issues has made me very careful about my organ health, so I suggest getting routine kidney function tests. Definitely consult your physician if the pain is regular.

Excess coffee increases the dryness in our body and strains the kidneys' filtering process, which can lead to discomfort. Rehydrating naturally with warm water and practicing gentle stretches can relieve the stiffness. If the pain doesn't go away, a medical checkup is necessary.

Bro, yes, coffee makes you pee a lot, and if you don't drink enough water after that, your kidneys can ache due to dehydration. Just cut down the caffeine for a few days and chug some water. If it still hurts, definitely show a doctor.

Coffee is very heating and drying for the body, which can strain the kidneys and cause mild pain. Drinking warm coconut water or barley water can help cool the system and flush out toxins. But if the pain persists, please get a doctor to check it.

If you are using coffee to sustain long working hours, you might be forgetting to drink water, which causes kidney strain and pain. Keep a water bottle at your desk and limit coffee to 1-2 cups. If the pain doesn't stop, go get a quick ultrasound done.

Yeah, I used to get a weird pain in my lower back when I drank too much black coffee during exam times. It was pure dehydration. Once I started matching every cup of coffee with a bottle of water, the pain stopped. If it's a severe ache, though, go see a doctor.
