Can diarrhoea cause back pain?

For the past few days, I've had loose motions, and along with that, I've developed a dull ache in my lower back. I'm wondering if my diarrhoea could be somehow linked to this back pain. It feels unusual.

The dehydration from diarrhea can cause muscle cramps, which often feels like a dull ache in the lower back. You can sip warm water with a little cumin seeds boiled in it to soothe the stomach. But if the back pain is severe or accompanied by a high fever, please consult a doctor immediately.

My health tracker always shows a massive drop in hydration levels when my stomach is upset, which explains the back muscle tightness. The cramping in the intestines can also radiate pain to the lower back area. Try tracking your water intake and make sure you are getting enough electrolytes to stop those muscle spasms.

Yes, having loose motions repeatedly can exhaust the body and cause a lot of backache. Please lie down, keep yourself warm, and drink some light electoral water. Rest is the best medicine right now.

I often get both gut issues and lower back pain during my cycles due to PCOS inflammation, so they can definitely be linked. The constant cramping in your abdomen can pull on your back muscles too. Just be gentle with yourself and take a warm hot water bag if it helps.

Honestly, sitting on that hard commode every twenty minutes is enough to ruin anyone's back posture! Between the stomach cramps and the terrible bathroom seat, my lower back is absolutely killing me today. I just need a soft mattress and a solid ten hours of sleep.

That spicy schezwan rice from the corner stall gave me a crazy stomach upset and now my lower back is aching like crazy too. I guess the gut is throwing a massive tantrum and punishing my whole body. Sticky white rice and curd is my only food friend for now.

Actually yaar, the stomach cramps are so intense that the pain literally travels to your back. I thought I pulled a muscle last time, but doc said it was just referred pain from my inflamed gut. Keep sipping fluids and don't panic, it gets better.

Don't blindly trust people telling you to just drink ginger tea or apply balm for back pain during diarrhea. Back pain can sometimes indicate severe dehydration affecting your kidneys or a deeper pelvic issue. Go see a qualified doctor to find the real cause.

It is quite common because of dehydration and the constant strain on your core muscles. Instead of buying expensive medicines, just buy a few packets of ORS from the local chemist and drink it throughout the day. It rehydrates the muscles and the back pain usually vanishes.

Beta, when the body loses all its strength and water, the muscles get stiff and cause pain in the back and legs. You should drink fresh coconut water and have soft khichdi with a little ghee to restore your strength. Do not lift any heavy weights until your stomach is completely fine.

I literally just got over a stomach virus yesterday and my lower back is still a bit stiff. My doctor told me it happens because the intestinal spasms pull on the nerves near the spine. Drinking lots of coconut water really helped ease the muscle tightness.

Your stomach and back are basically back-to-back neighbors, so if one starts a loud party, the other is bound to complain! It's just your body's dramatic way of saying it hates the food poisoning. Hang in there, it will pass.

Haan, jab pet mein itni marod uthti hai toh back mein dard hona normal hi hai na. Body puri tarah se exhaust ho jaati hai loose motions mein. Thoda dahi khao aur aaram karo, dhyan rakhna ki dehydration bilkul na ho.

Please do not ignore this if the back pain is very sharp. I once ignored severe diarrhea and lower back pain thinking it was just weakness, but it turned out to be a severe kidney infection that had spread. Get a simple urine test and consult a doctor to be safe.
