Can diabetics take ibuprofen 800mg?

My back pain has been acting up quite badly lately, and the doctor suggested I could take Ibuprofen 800mg if needed. But I'm diabetic, and I've heard some pain meds can be tricky. Is this dosage safe for someone with my condition?

An 800mg dose is extremely high and can put a lot of pressure on your kidneys, which is risky for diabetics. I prefer using hot water bags or ayurvedic balms for pain. For such a strong dose, you absolutely must consult a doctor first.

I totally get it, dealing with severe pain when you already have diabetes is exhausting. But 800mg is a really heavy dose of ibuprofen and could affect your kidney function. Please talk to your doctor to see if there is a safer alternative for you.

It is so exhausting when pain hits and you have to worry about how every pill will affect your diabetes. Taking 800mg of ibuprofen at once is quite a lot and can be hard on your system. Please don't suffer in silence, but call your doctor before taking it.

I panicked when my doctor prescribed a high-dose painkiller for my sprain, thinking it would ruin my kidney function. He explained that a short, supervised course is safe, but self-medicating is dangerous. Just run it by your doctor once to be sure.

Please do not take such a high dose without a doctor's prescription. I once took strong painkillers for joint pain, and it severely affected my kidney readings because of my diabetes. Please check with your specialist first.

Ibuprofen 800mg is a prescription-strength dose, and since diabetes increases the risk of kidney issues, it is not safe to take this on your own. Please get your kidney function checked and let your doctor prescribe the correct dosage.

Taking 800mg ibuprofen without a doctor's advice might lead to kidney complications, and kidney treatments and regular dialysis tests are extremely expensive. Better to pay a small doctor consultation fee now to get a safe prescription instead of risking huge bills later.
