Can diabetics have stevia?

Many people are now using stevia as a natural sweetener instead of sugar. I'm a diabetic and always looking for healthier alternatives for my chai. Is stevia a good option for diabetics, or are there any side effects to consider?

I used to panic thinking I could never drink sweet chai again after my diagnosis. But when I switched to organic stevia leaves, my blood sugar did not rise at all. It tastes a bit different at first, but you get used to it and it's completely safe.

I totally get how hard it is to give up sweets suddenly! Stevia is actually a natural plant extract, so it is a much better option than chemical sweeteners. I use a tiny drop of liquid stevia in my cold coffee and it works perfectly.

Stevia is a sweet herb, known as meethi tulsi here. It is far better than those synthetic powders in plastic packets. If you can get natural stevia dry leaves, boil one leaf with your tea, it is very good for satisfying the tongue without harming the body.

Managing PCOS and insulin resistance is a constant battle, and stevia has been my go-to sweetener for years. It doesn't cause insulin spikes, but please start with a very small amount as some brands mix it with erythritol which might upset sensitive stomachs.

Yes, stevia is perfectly fine and doesn't affect insulin levels. I keep stevia tablets in my office laptop bag because I don't have time to look for sugar-free options during busy client meetings. Just check the ingredients to ensure there is no added maltodextrin.

My father always preferred natural herbs, so we started using stevia leaves at home. However, my doctor advised us to use the pure extract form rather than processed powders, as it is much better for long-term health.

Stevia has this weird sweet-and-bitter aftertaste, like eating a sweet leaf that was slightly angry at you! But hey, it keeps your sugar at 100 instead of 250, so we have to compromise on the taste buds a little bit, right?

Stevia is a savior if you're trying to cut sugar but still want sweet tea. I've been using it for a year now and my fasting sugar levels have actually improved because I stopped using normal white sugar completely.

Haan babu, stevia humare yahan ke medical store mein mil jata hai. Ye bilkul surakshit hai aur isse khoon mein shakar nahi badhti. Hum toh chai mein yahi dalte hain aur bilkul theek hain.

While stevia is generally recognized as safe for diabetics, some commercial brands add fillers that can affect glucose levels. Always read the back of the pack carefully and consult your healthcare provider or dietitian to see if it fits into your specific meal plans.

Don't stress too much about missing sugar, sweetie! Just buy a good quality liquid stevia, put two drops in your tea or coffee, and enjoy. It is totally safe and your body will adapt to the taste in just a few days.

I started using stevia last week, but I felt slightly bloated after having it. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just my mind playing tricks because I am so anxious about my diet lately?
