Can diabetics have pork chops?

I love eating non-vegetarian food, and pork chops are one of my favourites. Since my diabetes diagnosis last year, I've been careful with my diet. Can diabetics include pork chops in their meals, or is it better to avoid them?

Since pork chops can be high in saturated fats and sodium, you need to be careful, especially if you have high blood pressure like me. Focus on lean cuts, bake them instead of frying, and make sure to get your blood pressure and kidney function checked regularly.

In my years of managing diabetes, I have learned that lean meats are generally fine as they don't have carbs to spike your sugar. Just ensure the pork chops are cooked with very little oil and no sweet sauces. Eat in moderation and you will be fine.

Bhai, pork chops bilkul kha sakte hain kyunki isme sugar nahi hota. Bas isko dukan wale meethe sauce ke sath mat banana. Ghar pe thode masalo ke sath kam tel mein paka ke khao, pet bhi bharega aur sugar bhi nahi badhega.

I completely understand the anxiety of questioning every single meal, it really drains you mentally. Pork itself doesn't have carbs so it won't spike your sugar instantly, but the fats can be heavy. Just have a small, lean portion and try not to worry too much.

I was recently diagnosed and I am still trying to understand what is safe to eat. I read that lean pork is okay, but is it safe to eat it with regular spices? If anyone has recipe ideas that won't affect sugar, please share.
