Can diabetics have blueberries?

I recently saw fresh blueberries at a gourmet store and they looked very tempting. I'm always looking for healthy fruit options for my diet as a diabetic. Can I eat blueberries without worrying about my sugar?

Yes, blueberries are fantastic because they have a low glycemic index and are rich in antioxidants. Having a small bowl after your daily run or walk is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth naturally.

At my age, finding sweet things that don't shoot my sugar to the moon is a miracle. Blueberries are great, though buying them in India sometimes burns a bigger hole in my pocket than my daily medicines!

Yes, they are completely safe and actually help improve insulin sensitivity when eaten in moderation.

I started eating a handful of blueberries with my sugar-free yogurt every morning. My fasting glucose levels have been very stable since I made this switch from normal cereals.

Haan na, blueberries are actually very good for health. They have very less sugar compared to mangoes and grapes, so you can eat them without tension, ho na?
