Can diabetics get handicap parking?

My diabetes has caused some nerve damage in my feet, making it difficult to walk long distances. I'm wondering if this condition qualifies for a handicap parking permit. Are diabetics eligible for handicap parking facilities?

I completely understand how overwhelming it is when diabetes starts affecting your daily mobility. It can be so exhausting and stressful to deal with. Just take it step by step, and don't hesitate to seek support for making your life easier.

While you look into the legal parking options, please make sure you are focusing heavily on a low-glycemic diet. Keeping your sugars strictly controlled can sometimes help reduce the severity of diabetic neuropathy over time.

Yes, but only if you have severe mobility issues or neuropathy. Simply having diabetes is not enough to qualify.

Usually, just having diabetes won't get you a handicap pass. But if you have severe complications like diabetic neuropathy or amputation that actually limits your walking, then you can apply through government medical boards.

Getting government handicap certificates in India requires a lot of paperwork and running around government hospitals. If you have severe joint or nerve pain from diabetes, apply with all your medical history ready to avoid delays.

My uncle struggled to walk due to diabetic foot ulcers, and our family doctor helped us get the official medical certificate for disabled parking. You should consult your specialist to see if your condition meets the government criteria.

My grandfather has severe leg pain due to diabetic nerve damage, and we had to get a special medical certificate for his car's handicap sticker. It really helps when we go to crowded places.

I ignored my burning feet for years until I could barely walk, and now I need assistance. Please don't ignore your nerve pain. Go get a proper neurological checkup immediately before things get worse.
