Can diabetics eat tuna?

I'm looking for healthy protein sources that are good for my diabetes. Someone suggested tuna, either canned or fresh. Is tuna a good option for diabetics, and are there any specific types or preparation methods I should prefer or avoid?

Tuna is basically pure protein and zero carbs. Unless you are planning to swim with the fishes, it is one of the safest foods you can eat without worrying about sugar spikes!

Tuna is actually super safe, yaar. It has lots of omega-3 and practically no carbs, so it won't affect your blood sugar at all. Just avoid canning it in heavy oils.

For non-vegetarians, tuna is a highly recommended option in diabetic diets. The lean protein helps keep you full and prevents sudden glucose spikes. Just ensure it is canned in water rather than brine to keep sodium low.

Bhai, tuna bilkul kha sakte ho. Isme sugar nahi hota aur protein achha hota hai. Bas tel me duba hua mat khana, pani wala canned tuna sabse badhiya hai.
