Can diabetics eat tofu?

I'm a vegetarian and trying to find good protein sources that are also diabetic-friendly. Someone suggested tofu, but I'm not sure about its impact on blood sugar. Can diabetics safely include tofu in their diet?

I was really worried about soy products affecting my thyroid and sugar, but tofu is generally considered very safe. Just to be absolutely sure, maybe check your sugar before and after eating it the first few times.

Haan na, tofu is actually very good for diabetes! It has very low carbs and high protein, so it doesn't raise sugar levels. You can easily make a nice dry stir-fry with veggies at home.

Tofu can be a bit more expensive than normal paneer in local shops, but it is great for blood sugar. If you plan your monthly grocery budget well, you can replace paneer with tofu twice a week to keep your diet healthy without spending too much.

Yes, tofu is an amazing option for diabetics! It is super low in carbs and very high in protein. I love grilling it with some spices for a quick and healthy snack.

Tofu is an excellent plant-based protein for vegetarians with diabetes. Since it has a very low glycemic index, it helps keep you full without causing any sudden insulin spikes. Just make sure to buy unsweetened, plain tofu.

I have been managing my type 2 diabetes for ten years now. Tofu is one of the safest foods I have added to my diet because it doesn't affect my glucose levels at all. Just cook it with minimal oil and enjoy.
