Can diabetics eat sourdough bread everyday?

I recently started including sourdough bread in my diet, thinking it's better for my sugar levels. It's becoming a daily habit with my breakfast. Is it okay for a diabetic to eat sourdough bread every single day, or should I limit it?

Having thyroid issues has taught me that consistency is key, but everyday habits need monitoring. Sourdough is better than white bread, but eating it daily might still affect your HbA1c. Get your blood tests done regularly and let your doctor decide if daily bread fits your plan.

I get my checkups done at Kokilaben Hospital and my doctor there was very clear: even good carbs shouldn't be eaten blindly every day. Ask your doctor clearly about your daily carb limit before deciding to make sourdough a daily habit.

Even though sourdough is fermented, eating any wheat product daily can add up in carbs. As a vegetarian, I prefer rotating my carbs with oats or ragi. If you must eat it every day, make sure you pack it with high-protein toppings like paneer bhurji to blunt the sugar spike.

My daughter loves bread, so we buy authentic sourdough. But eating it every single day can be tricky. We do it 2-3 times a week instead of daily, pairing it with lots of veggies, which keeps her blood glucose levels stable and safe.

I used to panic even thinking about eating bread daily, but my fears were unnecessary. I started eating a slice of sourdough every morning and monitored my sugars. Turns out, it was totally fine and didn't cause any major spikes at all!

Sourdough has a lower glycemic index, but daily consumption depends entirely on your physical activity and overall carb allowance. It is best to consult your clinical nutritionist or diabetologist to see how many slices you can safely incorporate daily.

Daily khana thoda risky ho sakta hai na. Sourdough accha hai, haan, normal bread se toh lakh guna behtar hai. Par everyday wheat intake se sugar fluctuate ho sakti hai, toh alternate days pe rakho toh best rahega.
