Can diabetics eat salt?

My blood pressure has been a bit high, along with my diabetes. My family keeps telling me to cut down on salt, but food becomes so bland. Is it really necessary for diabetics to completely avoid salt, or can I use it in moderation?

I totally get it, managing diabetes is hard enough, and now worrying about salt makes it even more exhausting. Salt doesn't raise blood sugar directly, but too much of it can increase blood pressure, which is risky for diabetics. Try to keep it moderate.

Look, salt won't directly spike your sugar, but high BP and diabetes are best friends. If you eat too much salt, your heart takes a hit. Cut down on processed foods and pickles, and keep your daily salt intake normal.

In our traditional cooking, we always emphasize balance. Excess salt is not good for anyone, especially sugar patients, as it affects the kidneys. Use rock salt or sendha namak in small amounts, and consult your doctor regularly.

Namak toh khane mein swad ke liye zaroori hai, beta, par zyada mat khaiye. Sugar ke sath blood pressure badhne ka darr rehta hai. Apne khane mein thoda namak kam rakhiye aur hamesha swasth rahiye.

In our home, we are told to reduce salt in curries to protect the heart. However, we always follow our doctor's specific advice on daily sodium limits. It is best to get your blood pressure and kidney function checked regularly.
