Can diabetics eat ritz crackers?

Sometimes I crave something savory and crunchy with my evening tea. I saw Ritz crackers at the shop. I have diabetes, so I wanted to check if these crackers are okay to eat, maybe a few, or if they are unhealthy for me.

Ritz crackers are made from refined flour, contain sugar, and have trans fats. My endocrinologist explicitly told me that processed snacks like these cause sudden glucose spikes. It is better to completely avoid them and choose roasted seeds instead.

Ritz crackers have almost zero fiber and are mostly simple carbs. They won't help your fitness goals or your blood sugar. If you need a crunchy snack, try dry roasted almonds or walnuts instead.

In my long life, I have found that traditional Indian snacks are much gentler on the stomach and sugar levels. These foreign biscuits contain too many preservatives. Stick to simple home-roasted makhana, it has served me well.

True, Ritz crackers have refined flour and hidden sugar. Avoid them and try roasted chana instead.

I recently brought my high HbA1c back to normal. One of the first things I did was throw out processed biscuits like Ritz. The refined flour is terrible for sugar levels, believe me.

Ritz are so good but actually they are pure maida, yaar. They will shoot your sugar levels straight up. Just skip them and get some baked soya chips or roasted chana instead.

Don't stress too much about missing out on Ritz, buddy. They are mostly maida anyway. Grab some roasted peanuts or roasted makhana with your chai, it tastes way better and won't mess with your health.

Ritz crackers are delicious but sadly they are made of maida and sugar. Better to switch to roasted seeds or cucumber slices with dip for a healthy crunch. Stay happy and eat fresh.

With diabetes, you cannot take risks with processed foods. Ritz crackers have refined starch which can cause sudden spikes. It is always safest to get your blood sugar checked regularly and ask your doctor before eating such snacks.

I was checking the ingredient list of Ritz crackers online. They actually contain high fructose corn syrup and white flour. It definitely looks like something diabetics should stay away from.

Those salty-sweet Ritz biscuits are so addictive, but they are a total trap for blood sugar! If you absolutely must have them, limit it to just one cracker and load it with sugar-free peanut butter to balance it out.

I totally get wanting a quick snack with your tea, but Ritz crackers are not the best choice. They are super processed. Maybe try making some home-baked ragi crackers instead? They are much healthier.
