Can diabetics eat potatoes everyday?

My family eats potatoes almost daily, in sabzis or curries. I have diabetes, and I'm trying to manage my blood sugar. Is it okay to eat potatoes every day, or should I limit their intake significantly?

I have high blood pressure along with diabetes, and eating potatoes daily is definitely not recommended for me. It affects weight and blood pressure too. You should focus on regular checkups and keep potatoes to once or twice a week at most.

Eating potatoes daily is not practical if you want to keep your sugar under control. Try replacing potato with lauki, bhindi, or cabbage in your daily meals. If you must use potato, just use half a potato for taste in the whole family handi.

Haan ji, daily aloo khana to bilkul sahi nahi hai diabetes mein. Potatoes high in carbs hote hain, toh sugar badhne ka darr humesha rehta hai. Isse acha hai ki aap green vegetables ko apni daily diet mein shamil karein na.

I used to eat aloo subji almost daily, and my fasting sugar kept going up even with my regular medicines. Did anyone else notice their daily sugar readings rising after eating even small amounts of potato consistently?

In our time, we ate everything but did hard physical labor. Today, eating aloo daily without that level of activity is not good for sugar. Focus on eating seasonal green vegetables and take a small spoonful of fenugreek seeds with water in the morning.

Some people on the internet say you can eat potatoes daily if you boil them a certain way, but do not risk your health on these theories. Everyone's glycemic response is different, so please check with your doctor and monitor your blood sugar before making potatoes a daily habit.
