Can diabetics eat pistachios?

My doctor told me to include healthy snacks in my diet for diabetes. I love eating pistachios, especially in the evening. Just wanted to know if they are okay for me to have, maybe a small handful?

Yes, pistachios are a great, quick snack option for busy workdays. They have a very low glycemic index and are rich in protein and fiber. Keep a small jar of unsalted ones at your desk to avoid junk eating.

Dekho bhai, pista bilkul kha sakte ho, isme koi dikkat nahi hai. Lekin dhyan rakhna ki bina namak wale roasted pista hi lene hain. Wo jo packets me namkeen wale milte hain na, unse dur raho.

Absolutely, pistachios are excellent for diabetic diets. They help manage glucose levels and are rich in healthy fats. Just stick to a portion size of about 30 grams a day and don't mindless-munch.

Haan beta, pista bahut faydemand hota hai. Tum thoda sa pista roz kha sakte ho, isse sharir ko taqat milti hai aur sugar bhi nahi badhta. Bas jada mat khana, thoda sa hi kafi hai.

At 53, my doctor has cut down half my favorite foods, but thank god pistachios are still allowed. They are my only survival tool when everyone else is eating samosas. Just keep them unsalted or your blood pressure will join the party.
