Can diabetics eat papaya?

My doctor advised me to eat more fruit since I have diabetes. I like papaya, and it's easily available. Can I eat papaya regularly, or does it have too much natural sugar that might affect my blood levels?

Yes, absolutely. Papaya has a moderate glycemic index and is very high in fiber, which prevents sudden blood sugar spikes. I have a small bowl of papaya almost every morning and my sugar levels are always in check.

Papita to pet ke liye bohot acha hota hai aur sugar me bhi fayedemand hai. Maine kai gharelu nuskhe dekhe hain par roz subah ek katori papita khana sabse asardaar hai. Isse pachan bhi thik rehta hai aur sugar bhi kabu me rehti hai.

Yes, papaya is a safe fruit for diabetics when eaten in moderation. It is very light and nutritious, so you can enjoy a small portion without worry.

My dad has type 2 diabetes and he eats papaya literally every single day during breakfast. He hasn't faced any spikes at all. It's super cheap and healthy, so go for it.

I have been managing my diabetes for fifteen years, and papaya has been my constant companion. It is easy on the stomach and does not cause any sudden sugar rushes. Just keep the portion size reasonable.

Papaya is very good for your heart health and digestion, which is important when managing both high BP and diabetes. Along with healthy eating, just make sure to do regular walking and get your monthly checkups done.
