Can diabetics eat oranges at night?

My friend, who is also diabetic, told me not to eat fruits like oranges at night because it can spike blood sugar. I like having one before bed sometimes. Is it really bad for diabetics to eat oranges late in the evening?

I totally get it, managing cravings late at night is so difficult when you have diabetes. Oranges are okay, but eating fruits late can sometimes affect your morning sugar levels. Maybe try having them in the afternoon instead?

I just started managing my grandfather's diet and I'm a bit confused. Is eating oranges at night bad for fasting sugar in the morning, or does it not make a difference?

According to my CGM data, eating high-carb fruits like oranges after 8 PM causes a noticeable spike during sleep. If you want to keep your graph flat, keep the fruit consumption restricted to active hours.

I usually avoid eating oranges at night because they give me mild acidity and sometimes mess up my fasting sugar readings the next day. Better to stick to them as a mid-day snack around 4 PM.

Eating oranges at night is generally not recommended as digestion slows down during sleep, potentially leading to morning blood sugar fluctuations. It's best to discuss your specific meal timings with your doctor or dietician.

Raat ko santra khane ka koi fayda nahi hai, khali peet me acidity ho sakti hai aur sugar bhi badh sakti hai. Khana hai to dophar ke khane ke baad khao, raat ko sone se pehle mat khao.

I tried eating an orange as a late-night snack last week and my fasting sugar shot up to 140 the next morning. Learned my lesson the hard way, so I'm strictly keeping my fruits to daytime now.

As a rule of thumb, fruits should be consumed before 5 PM to avoid digestive issues and morning glucose spikes. Oranges have natural sugars which are better processed when you are active during the day.

I know how stressful it is to watch your glucose monitor and wonder if every little snack is going to cause a spike. To be safe and avoid sleepless nights, it's usually better to have oranges during the daytime when you can walk it off.

Honestly, if you're busy, just fit your fruits in during office hours. Eating an orange at night right before bed might spike your fasting sugar, which is a pain to manage the next morning. Keep it simple and eat it with lunch.

Bhaiya, raat ko dahi aur khatte phal khane se parhez karna chahiye. Hamare yahan kahte hain isse thand lag sakti hai aur sugar wale bhaiyon ke liye dophar ka samay hi phal khane ke liye sabse badhiya hai.

Beta, raat ko phal khane se bacho to hi achha hai kyunki dophar ke waqt phal pachaana aasan hota hai. Agar raat ko meetha khane ka man kare, to ek do badam kha lo, santra dophar me hi rakho.
