Can diabetics eat kiwifruit?

My uncle has diabetes, and he's trying to incorporate more fruits into his diet. I see a lot of kiwifruit in smoothies and salads now. Can diabetics eat kiwifruit, or is its sugar content a concern?

My family always recommends traditional fruits like amla, but my doctor confirmed that kiwifruit is also excellent for diabetics because of its low glycemic load. I highly recommend discussing with your physician to see how many you can safely enjoy each week.

I have tried so many home remedies to control my husband's sugar, and we found that replacing sweet mangoes with kiwifruit was a great practical change. It is tart, refreshing, and doesn't cause sudden spikes. It's a very safe option to satisfy that fruit craving.

Yes, kiwifruit is safe and highly recommended because of its low glycemic index. Just make sure to eat it whole with the seeds for maximum fiber benefits.

I am newly diagnosed and still learning what I can eat safely. I keep reading that kiwifruit is good, but is it better to eat it in the morning or can I have it as an evening snack? Any tips would really help me.

I manage both thyroid and high sugar, so I have to be very regular with my blood tests. Kiwifruit is a regular part of my diet because of its high fiber and nutrients. I highly suggest getting your HbA1c checked regularly and letting your doctor guide your diet based on those results.
