Can diabetics eat cottage cheese?

My dietitian suggested I include more protein in my diet. I was thinking of adding cottage cheese. Is cottage cheese a good option for diabetics, especially for a snack?

Haan bilkul, cottage cheese (paneer) is actually great for diabetics, na. It is very high in protein and low in carbs, so it won't spike your sugar. Just make sure to eat the low-fat version and don't deep-fry it!

I completely understand the constant worry about what is safe to eat when managing diabetes. Fortunately, cottage cheese is one of the safest options because of its high protein content. It is very reassuring to have something tasty and safe.

I used to panic about eating any dairy product, thinking it would mess up my sugar readings. But cottage cheese is actually wonderful. It keeps me full for hours and my glucose levels remain perfectly stable after eating it.

At my age, finding a food that my doctor and my tastebuds both agree on is a miracle! Cottage cheese is one of those rare blessings. It fills me up, doesn't raise my sugar, and doesn't require complex cooking.

My dad has Type 2 and he eats cottage cheese (paneer) almost every day. It's super easy to prepare and doesn't spike his sugar at all. It is definitely one of the best and safest snacks we have at home.
