Can diabetics eat blueberries?

My doctor recommended adding more antioxidants to my diet for better health management. Blueberries are often praised for this. Can a diabetic person safely include blueberries in their diet?

Blueberries are actually amazing for diabetes, yaar. They are super rich in antioxidants and have a really low glycemic index. I usually throw a handful of them into my morning oats and my sugar stays totally in control.

I am not a doctor, but I can share what works for me. I have been eating a small bowl of blueberries almost every day with my afternoon tea, and I haven't seen any weird spikes in my blood sugar logs. They are a great sweet treat.

My doctor actually recommended blueberries because they contain bioactive compounds called anthocyanins, which help improve insulin sensitivity. He suggested sticking to a portion size of about half a cup (around 75-80 grams) daily as a mid-morning snack.

Haan bilkul kha sakte hain! Blueberries sugar patients ke liye bahut badhiya hoti hain na because unme fiber kafi hota hai. Bas dhyan rakhna ki sugar-coated ya canned wali mat lena, hamesha fresh hi khao.

Hanji, bilkul kha sakte hain. Humare yahan sheher mein ye thoda mushkil se milti hai par jab bhi aati hai main apne pitaji ke liye lata hoon. Unka sugar bilkul theek rehta hai ise khane se, ye bahut faydemand phal hai.
