Can diabetics eat asparagus?

I'm trying to incorporate more vegetables into my diet for better diabetes management. Asparagus is a new one I'm considering. Is asparagus a good option, can diabetics eat it freely?

I was reading about low-carb veggies and found out asparagus is actually fantastic for diabetics. It has very few carbs and is rich in antioxidants. It seems like a great addition to your meals.

I am always a bit nervous when trying exotic vegetables, wondering if they might affect my stomach or sugar levels. Has anyone else tried eating grilled asparagus? Did it suit your digestion well?

Yes, asparagus is totally safe and highly recommended because of its high fiber and low glycemic index.

I eat asparagus regularly. It is loaded with fiber which helps control glucose absorption. Just sauté it lightly with olive oil and garlic for a perfect, healthy side dish.
