Can diabetics eat applesauce?

My children love applesauce, and I sometimes have it too. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and now I'm checking everything. Can diabetics eat applesauce, or is it too processed with added sugars?

I totally get it, sometimes you just want something soft and sweet that is easy to eat. But please make sure you check the label of the applesauce because many store-bought ones have tons of added sugar that can cause quick spikes.

With insulin resistance, pureed fruits can sometimes cause a faster sugar spike than solid fruits because the fiber is broken down. If you really want applesauce, try making it at home without any sugar and keep the portion very small.

Haan kha toh sakte hain, par market waali pack me bohot preservative aur sugar hota hai na. Ghar pe bina chini ke thoda sa boil karke bana lo, woh thik rahega.

Our bodies are designed to chew whole foods rather than consume pureed fruits. Eating a whole raw apple gives you natural fiber, whereas applesauce is digested too quickly. Stick to fresh, natural fruits in their original form.

I always get so anxious about pureed fruits because they hit the bloodstream so fast. I would suggest checking your blood sugar right after eating it to make sure it doesn't cause a sudden, unexpected spike.
