Can diabetics drink coke zero?

I really miss the taste of soda, but obviously, I can't have regular Coke because of my diabetes. My friend suggested Coke Zero. Is it okay, can diabetics drink Coke Zero, or are the artificial sweeteners still a concern?

My doctor at Apollo told me that while Coke Zero has no sugar, the artificial sweeteners can still trigger insulin responses in some people. It is best to ask your diabetologist clearly before making it a habit.

Coke Zero has zero sugar, so it won't give you an immediate sugar spike! It is a lifesaver when you miss the fizz. Just don't drink it daily, keep it as an occasional treat. 😊

Well, it won't raise your blood sugar, but it won't make you a fitness model either! Drink it if you are craving soda, but don't replace water with it. Your teeth and stomach will thank you.

Bhaiya, Coke Zero mein cheeni toh nahi hoti par ye sab chemical wali cheezein hain. Kabhi kabhaar shauk ke liye pi lo toh theek hai, par roz peena sehat ke liye acha nahi hai. Sadha paani sabse uttam hai.

Technically, Coke Zero has zero calories and carbs, so it is safe for your glucose readings. But chemically, the aspartame in it can sometimes increase your cravings for actual sweet foods later. Drink it in moderation.

I have been managing type 2 diabetes and sometimes drink Coke Zero during parties. It has never spiked my blood sugar. However, I limit it to once a month because clean eating is always the priority.

It is completely fine to have a Coke Zero once in a while when you are out with friends. Since it uses artificial sweeteners, it won't affect your glucose levels. Just don't let it become a daily habit, okay?
