Can diabetics drink?

Mere papa ko abhi recently diabetes diagnose hua hai. Pehle toh woh roz subah chai peete the, but ab sab liquids ke liye confusion hai. Toh, generally speaking, kya diabetics kuch bhi pee sakte hain ya specific cheezein avoid karni chahiye?

I see this question a lot here. Yes, you can have an occasional drink, but never on an empty stomach because alcohol can cause dangerous drops in sugar hours later. Keep a check on your levels.

I get so worried thinking about how alcohol affects the liver and sugar levels together. If you do plan to drink, please make sure your friends know you have diabetes just in case your sugar drops. Better safe than sorry!

Actually yaar, drinking can be tricky because sweet mixers like sodas or juices will spike your sugar instantly. If you really want to drink, stick to dry wine or neat spirits with water, and don't overdo it.

Haan na, limit me peena hi sabse achha hai. Excessive drinking completely messes up our medication timing. Apne health ka dhyan pehle rakhna chahiye, baaki sab baad me.

If you are going to drink, plan to test your sugar before sleeping and the next morning. Those test strips can be expensive, so budget for extra testing on days you decide to indulge.
