Can diabetics donate organs?

I've pledged to be an organ donor after my passing, but I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I'm worried this might make my pledge invalid. Can diabetics donate organs, or does having diabetes automatically disqualify me?

If your organs are in great shape through clean eating, regular workouts, and keeping your sugar levels strictly in check, donation is definitely possible. But the doctors evaluate organ health very thoroughly first.

My son has juvenile diabetes, and we looked into this. Diabetics can absolutely donate certain organs, but it depends heavily on how long you've had the condition and if there is any kidney damage. A doctor can guide you best.

I always worry if my daily medications affect my liver or other organs in the long run. If you are thinking of organ donation, maybe get a full body scan and talk to a specialist to put your mind at ease. It's such a noble thought!

I ignored my rising sugar levels for years and now my kidneys are affected, which means I can't donate organs. Please get your kidney function tests done regularly. Take care of your health before it's too late.

Humare yahan toh log sochte hain ki sugar hai toh kuch nahi kar sakte, par aisa nahi hai. Hospital ke bade doctor se baat kijiye, woh batayenge ki kaunsa ang daan kiya ja sakta hai.
