Can diabetic retinopathy be cured?

My uncle has been suffering from diabetic retinopathy for a long time, and his vision is slowly getting worse. We are exploring all options for him. Can diabetic retinopathy be cured completely, or can it only be managed to prevent further damage?

Diabetic retinopathy cannot be completely 'cured' in the traditional sense, but its progression can definitely be managed and slowed down. Laser treatments and injections help preserve vision. Please consult a qualified ophthalmologist immediately for a proper assessment.

Any issue regarding vision must be treated with utmost urgency. You should never rely on online tips for diabetic retinopathy. Go to a well-known eye hospital and get a dilated retinal examination done immediately.

Keeping your blood sugar stable through consistent cardio and a clean diet is crucial to prevent microvascular damage like retinopathy. However, once the eyes are affected, lifestyle alone isn't enough. You must consult a doctor for specialized eye care.

Actually, eye damage due to sugar is really serious yaar. You can't just take it lightly or try some random home remedies. Go to a proper eye specialist and get a laser or injection plan if they recommend it.

Retinopathy is a complication of long-term high blood sugar that damages retinal blood vessels. While we can't reverse the existing damage fully, advanced treatments like anti-VEGF injections can prevent further loss of sight. Please schedule a visit with an eye doctor as soon as possible.
