Can diabetic patient eat dates?

Dates are considered very healthy, especially during festivals like Eid, and my family loves them. But my father is diabetic, and I'm not sure if he should have them. Can a diabetic patient eat dates without spiking their sugar too much?

Bhai khajur me mithaas bahut hoti hai, isliye thoda bach ke rehna chahiye. Mere tauji ko sugar hai, wo kabhi-kabhi adha khajur kha lete hain par roz nahi. Aap ek baar unke doctor babu se pooch lijiye, wo sahi batayenge.

Sab acha hoga, aap bas dhyan se chizein khaiye. Khajur me natural sugar hoti hai par limit me hi sahi rehta hai. Apne sharir ki suniye aur positive rahiye, doctor ki salah le kar hi isko shamil kijiye.

Actually dates khane se mera sugar level sudden jump kar gaya tha pichle mahine. Agar aapki diabetes control me hai toh ek dates chal sakta hai par dhyan rakhna padega. Maine toh filhal band hi kiya hai jab tak reports normal na aayein.

Mujhe iska zyada idea nahi hai kyunki ghar me abhi kisi ko sugar diagnose hui hai. Kya sach me khajur khane se sugar turant badh jaata hai? Agar koi safe quantity ho toh please koi bataye na.

Dates have a low-to-medium glycemic index but they are very calorie-dense and high in carbs. If you're tracking your macros, you can fit maybe one date into your daily fiber limit, but watch the spike on your CGM. Better check with your doctor first.

Haan yaar, dates waise toh healthy hote hain par sugar patients ke liye thode risky hain na. Ek-do piece khane me burai nahi hai par regular mat rakhna. Doctor se test karwa ke poonch lo toh sabse badhiya rahega.
