Can diabetes go undetected in blood tests?

I had a routine blood test, and my sugar levels were fine. But my aunt says sometimes diabetes can be present but not show up in typical blood tests. Is it possible for diabetes to go undetected even with blood tests?

Standard fasting glucose tests can sometimes miss early-stage insulin resistance or prediabetes because your fasting numbers might look normal. I always log my HbA1c in my fitness tracker because it shows a 3-month average which is way more accurate.

Don't stress too much about tests missing it. While a simple single-day prick test can vary, an HbA1c blood test is extremely reliable and rarely misses anything. Just go to a trusted lab and get it done peacefully.

Agar aap sasta wala random glucose test karwaoge toh fluctuations ki wajah se results sahi nahi milenge. Usse behtar hai thode paise bacha ke ek baar dhang ka fasting glucose aur HbA1c test karwana, jo mushkil se 300-400 mein ho jata hai.

Hey, don't stress too much about this. A single fasting test can occasionally show normal results if your diet has been clean lately, but a proper lab blood test rarely misses actual diabetes. Just go get standard tests done and chill.

A simple random test might hide the real picture if you've been eating clean for a day! But a proper HbA1c test catches everything because it looks at the last 90 days. No hiding from that one!

I completely understand how worrying it is to think that blood tests might be lying to us. But honestly, lab tests for HbA1c are highly standardized. If your report is normal, you can breathe easy and trust it.

Sometimes if we eat a very light satvik vegetarian diet before the test, fasting numbers look normal even if there is slight insulin resistance. It's better to do the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) along with HbA1c to be absolutely sure.

Bro, if you just do a random finger prick test after a workout it might show weird numbers. But proper lab tests like fasting sugar and HbA1c don't easily miss diabetes. Just get it done from a proper lab.
