Can diabetes eat cauliflower?

My mother-in-law has diabetes, and we usually cook cauliflower for sabzi. My neighbour told me that some vegetables are not good for diabetics. Can people with diabetes safely eat cauliflower?

Of course you can! Cauliflower is actually one of the best low-carb veggies for diabetics. You can even make cauliflower rice or mash to replace heavy carbs in your meals.

Humare ghar mein gobi ka use bohot hota hai. It has a very low glycemic index, so it doesn't cause any spikes. Just don't make it with loads of potatoes and oil, keep it simple or steam it.

I am actually quite new to managing diet for diabetes... Is cooked gobi really safe for daily use? Or is raw cauliflower better in salads? Pls let me know if anyone has tried it.

Relax, gobhi is totally safe for you to eat. It is packed with fiber and good nutrients. Just eat it in decent quantities and cook it nicely with basic home spices. You are doing fine, don't worry too much.

My doctor told me that cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower are excellent because they are low in calories and starch. They help keep you full without messing with your fasting or post-prandial sugar levels.
