Can diabetes cause your legs to hurt?

For the past few months, I've been experiencing a lot of pain and tingling in my legs, especially at night. I am diabetic, and someone told me that diabetes can affect your legs. Is this true, and what can I do?

Haan na, pairon me bahut dard hota hai jab sugar levels high hote hain. Actually, diabetes affects the nerves in our legs, which causes that burning or cramping sensation. Thoda walking kiya karo aur doctor se mil ke medicines adjust karwa lo, relief milega.

I was actually researching this because my father complains of a burning pain in his calves. I found out that high sugar levels can damage blood vessels and nerves in the legs over time. It is definitely worth discussing with a doctor to prevent further damage.

I ignored the constant aching and numbness in my feet, thinking it was just fatigue, until it became difficult to walk. It was early nerve damage due to uncontrolled sugar. Please don't ignore this pain; get your HbA1c checked and see your doctor immediately.

Yes, leg pain is very common with diabetes due to poor blood flow. If your doctor allows, a daily 15-20 minute brisk walk can do wonders to improve circulation in your legs. Just make sure to wear highly cushioned walking shoes and don't push yourself too hard.

Yes, physical imbalances like high blood sugar can bring pain and heaviness to your legs. Please stay positive, keep your mind peaceful, and try some light, gentle stretching every morning. Do consult your doctor regularly to help your body heal from within.

Oh god, those midnight leg cramps are the main reason I am surviving on coffee and getting no sleep! Diabetes can really make your legs throb. Definitely get your sugar tested because you cannot live on zero sleep forever.

Leg pain can be quite troublesome, but don't rush into expensive nerve tests right away. Start with a simple fasting blood sugar test at a local lab, which is quite cheap, and consult a general doctor. Plan your checkups properly so you don't end up wasting money on unnecessary scans.

Leg pain can be linked to high sugar and a lack of proper nutrients in our diet. I found that eating green leafy vegetables, staying hydrated, and avoiding sugary foods helped reduce my leg cramps. Please consult your dietitian and doctor before making any major diet changes.
