Can diabetes cause kidney failure?

My doctor has been emphasizing the importance of keeping my blood sugar in check to protect my kidneys. This makes me very scared about developing kidney failure, especially since my father also had diabetes and kidney issues. Can diabetes really lead to kidney failure?

I am a bit scared because my father was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Is kidney failure really common in diabetes patients? Can we stop it if we start taking medicines now? Please guide.

I literally can't sleep thinking about diabetes complications, kidney failure is so terrifying! But we must remember that keeping sugar under control stops this. Please get a kidney function test done to be absolutely sure.

Main 12 saal se diabetic hoon aur main har saal kidney tests karwata hoon. Sugar blood vessels ko damage karta hai, isliye sweet and salt dono par control zaroori hai. Do not ignore doctor's advice.

Chill kar yaar, tension mat le. Yes, diabetes kidneys par pressure dalti hai, par agar medicines time par loge aur healthy khaoge toh tension ki koi baat nahi hai. Just go see your doc and stay relaxed.

In our family, my uncle had kidney issues because of long-standing diabetes that he ignored. After that, we became very careful with medications. It's always best to follow what the doctor advises you.

Uncontrolled blood sugar strains the nephrons in your kidneys. Staying active, drinking enough water, and eating a clean diet can prevent this damage. Make sure to visit your doctor for regular screening.
