Can diabetes cause headaches?

More frequent and intense headaches lately are quite unusual for me. My doctor recently told me my blood sugar levels are a bit high, pointing towards pre-diabetes. Could these headaches be a symptom or early sign related to diabetes?

Yes, headaches are a classic sign of blood sugar spikes or sudden drops. Don't just pop pain killers because that won't solve the underlying issue. Get your blood sugar checked today and talk to your endocrinologist.

I haven't slept properly in days so my head is already thumping, but yes, diabetes can definitely trigger nasty headaches. When your glucose levels go crazy, it messes with your brain's blood flow. Go check your sugar levels before you blame your screen time!

I can only speak from my own personal experience, but whenever my fasting sugar goes above 180, I get a dull headache behind my eyes. Drinking water helps a bit, but getting my sugar down is the only real fix. You should check with your doctor to be safe.

Oh god, I always get so anxious whenever my head hurts, thinking it's something huge. But yes, high or low blood sugar can absolutely cause headaches, which is very common. Please check your levels right now just to be safe and calm your mind.

Headaches often occur due to rapid dehydration when your body tries to flush out excess sugar. Keeping yourself hydrated and eating balanced, low-carb meals can prevent these spikes. If it's persistent, definitely check in with your doctor.
