Can dengue be transmitted from person to person?

There have been a few dengue cases in our society recently, and everyone is quite worried. My neighbour told me that it's only spread by mosquitoes, not directly from person to person. Is this true, or can dengue actually transmit between people?

No, dengue doesn't spread through direct physical contact, saliva, or coughing. It purely transmits when an infected mosquito bites a healthy person. Just make sure there is no stagnant water around your house and keep using mosquito nets or repellents inside.

Bro, my brain is barely functioning on three hours of sleep, but even I know you can't catch dengue by just sitting next to someone. The only villain here is the mosquito, specifically that sneaky female Aedes one. So you don't need to quarantine your family members, just buy more mosquito coils and sleep in peace.

Hey, don't worry about catching it from them! My sister had dengue last year and we stayed in the same room, nothing happened to me. Just make sure you guys are using good mosquito roll-ons or sprays, especially during the daytime.

Actually, absolutely not yaar. Dengue doesn't spread like normal viral cold. It's only because of mosquito bites, so chill. Just put on some good Odomos and you are sorted.

It doesn't spread from touch, so don't worry about keeping patients isolated in a room. When my daughter had it, we just focused on her recovery and gave her plenty of coconut water and fresh papaya leaf juice. Just keep the mosquito repellent on so other mosquitoes don't bite them and carry it to others.

In our times, we saw entire neighborhoods getting down with dengue, but it was always because of the local drainage issues and mosquitoes breeding, not from hugging or sharing food. Do not worry about transmission between family members. Just focus on rest and keeping the surroundings clean.

Hey, don't stress too much about this. Dengue is strictly a mosquito-to-human thing, so you can safely sit next to them and help them recover. Just make sure there's no water logging nearby and use a good repellent.

No, it absolutely doesn't spread directly from person to person. It only spreads through mosquito bites.

I completely understand why you're asking this, health scares make us panic about every little thing. Thankfully, dengue isn't like flu or covid, it cannot jump from person to person. Take a deep breath, you can take care of your loved ones without worrying about catching it yourself.

Haha, no yaar, you can share a bowl of soup or even your favorite snacks with them without any fear. Dengue doesn't spread through saliva or touch. Just protect yourself from those annoying mosquitoes.

Honestly, I used to wash my hands ten times when my flatmate got dengue because I was so scared of catching it. But then I read up a lot and realized it's strictly mosquito-borne, not airborne or contagious. Still, please make sure to keep your windows closed in the evenings just to be absolutely safe.

No direct transfer, buddy. It is only the mosquito that does the damage. If someone at home has it, keep their hydration levels high with electrolytes and let them rest. You can hit the gym without any fear of catching it from them.
