Can dehydration cause side pain?

Sometimes, after a long day at work when I haven't had much to drink, I get this sharp, dull pain in my side. It's not severe, but it's noticeable. Is it possible that dehydration can cause this kind of side pain?

Side pain often happens when our kidneys are struggling to flush out waste due to insufficient water. Along with regular hydration, practicing Vajrasana after meals and gentle side-stretches can help release tension in the abdominal sides. Be gentle with your body.

Excuse me, I have been feeling a dull ache on the right side of my waist since morning and I realized I barely drank any water today. Can lack of water really cause this so quickly? Should I drink some electoral powder now?

I used to get that annoying side catch very often while walking. I tried drinking ginger tea and fennel water, but the ultimate cure was just keeping a water bottle handy. Try drinking barley water (jau ka paani) once a day, it cools the system and flushes the kidneys nicely.

Honestly, after working a 14-hour shift with only coffee in my system, my side starts hurting like a kidney stone is brewing. It is usually just my body yelling 'give me actual water, not caffeine!' I drink two big glasses of water and sleep it off.

Whenever I indulge in super salty chips or Chinese food, my side starts pinching if I don't balance it with water. All that sodium needs water to clear out of your system, otherwise, your kidneys will definitely complain. Keep chugging water alongside your favorite snacks!

Yes, when there is less water in the body, it can cause muscle cramps and strain in the side area. Please sit down, have some fresh water slowly, and rest for a while. Take care of yourself.

Yes, dehydration concentrates your urine, which irritates the kidneys and causes a dull, throbbing pain in your sides.
