Can dehydration cause heart attack symptoms?

Sometimes when I don't drink enough water, I feel dizzy and my heart races a bit, which makes me very anxious. My neighbour said these could be 'heart attack like' symptoms. Is it true that dehydration can cause symptoms that mimic a heart attack?

Beta, when the body lacks water, the heart has to beat much faster to pump blood, which can cause palpitations and chest tightness. Sip some fresh coconut water or warm water slowly. But if the pain is severe, do not rely on home remedies and see a doctor immediately.

Oh god, I get so anxious about this too! Dehydration once gave me crazy palpitations and a tight chest, and I convinced myself I was having a heart attack. It turned out to be just low water and panic, but it's always terrifying. Keep drinking water, but definitely get it checked if you're scared.

Dehydration can definitely cause a racing heart and lightheadedness, which mimic scary cardiac issues. However, you should never guess when it comes to the heart. Please go to a clinic and get an ECG done just to be absolutely safe.

During peak summers, severe dehydration can cause sudden dizziness and heavy breathing. A very simple solution is to keep an electoral pouch handy in your bag and drink it when you feel off. But if the chest pain persists, please don't wait and consult a doctor.

In our busy lives, we drink too much coffee and too little water, leading to sudden heart palpitations that feel like a heart attack. Make sure you drink at least 3 liters of plain water daily. If the symptoms continue despite good hydration, schedule a doctor's appointment without delay.

Yes, high heat and lack of water can cause a rapid heart rate and a feeling of breathlessness. Drinking a glass of lemon water with rock salt can help balance your electrolytes quickly. But please, if you have actual crushing chest pain or numbness, go to a hospital immediately.
