Can dandruff make you itchy?

My scalp has been constantly itchy for the past few weeks, and I've also noticed a lot of white flakes. My friends told me it's probably dandruff. I was wondering, is it true that dandruff is the reason for this constant itching?

Obviously, dandruff is a fungal issue and it will make your scalp super itchy. Get a proper ketoconazole shampoo and stop scratching with dirty nails.

Yes, it makes you want to scratch your head all day long! 🙈 Just try to keep your hair clean and use a light tea tree oil spray for quick relief.

The itchiness is due to toxins and dry skin. Regular yoga helps improve overall body circulation, which keeps the skin and scalp naturally healthy and calm.

I have dealt with this for years. Dandruff definitely causes intense itching, especially when you sweat. Washing your hair 2-3 times a week with a mild cleanser is the best way to handle it.

Absolutely, especially after a heavy spicy meal when my body gets warm! It feels like my scalp is on fire, but a cold water wash helps calm it down.

Don't stress too much, buddy! It's just normal dandruff itching. Just grab a good anti-dandruff shampoo from the local medical store and you will be fine.

I totally get it, that constant itch can be so frustrating and distracting during work. Just try not to scratch too hard as it might cause small painful cuts.
