Can creatine hurt your liver?

My younger brother is planning to start using creatine, but my mother is quite apprehensive. She keeps asking if it can hurt his liver, especially since he doesn't eat very healthy. Can creatine actually cause harm to the liver?

Normally, creatine does not affect the liver at all. But if you feel any nausea or heavy feeling, taking some warm water with a bit of lemon can help cleanse your system. For any severe pain, please go see a doctor immediately.

I understand your concern about liver safety. While creatine is very safe, I always suggest keeping your digestion active with natural things like buttermilk and mint. It helps process any heavy gym supplements much better.

Bro, don't stress too much about this. Creatine is literally one of the most researched things in the fitness world and it doesn't touch your liver. Just buy a genuine brand and stay relaxed!

Honestly, my lack of sleep is doing more damage to me than creatine ever could. Rest assured, your liver is perfectly safe with creatine. Just make sure you drink enough water and don't stay up till 3 AM like me.

I was actually looking up the same thing last night before starting my gym routine. It turns out creatine is mostly processed by kidneys and muscles, so your liver is totally out of the picture. Pretty relieved to know this!

I had the same doubt when my trainer recommended creatine. I got my liver tests done just to be practical, and everything was absolutely perfect. It doesn't hurt your liver, so you can go ahead safely.

I totally get why you're asking this; I used to get so anxious reading random blogs about liver damage. But creatine is actually very safe and doesn't hurt the liver at all. Try not to worry, you're fine!
